IN JOINT EFFORT WITH COVENANT HOUSE CALIFORNIA, VBO TICKETS PROVIDES MEALS TO OAKLAND’S HOMELESS AND UNDERPRIVLAGED YOUTH
In a display of our continued commitment to the Greater Bay Area community, VBO Tickets came through for those most in need over the Thanksgiving holiday.
VBO Tickets donated funds and manpower to assist the homeless of Oakland on Thanksgiving, joining Covenant House California in a holiday meal that fed more than 100 people.
“Giving back to the community is a not only a company mission, but our duty as citizens of this beautiful region,” said VBO Tickets President David Boehme. “The Bay Area has given so much to so many of its inhabitants and visitors. As residents, it’s critical to look out for our own in their time of need to let them know they are not forgotten and certainly not alone.”
People of all walks of life appreciated the gesture and took part in the festivities with a diverse, yet collective smile. The feast provided not only a warm meal on a traditional-rich holiday, but also a heavy dose of compassion for the underprivileged.
“It was a humbling experience that truly touched me,” continued Boehme. “It was a reminder of how giving back is a gift not only to the recipient, but to the giver as well. VBO Tickets is firmly committed to giving back to everyone in the same community that we also call homes.”
